She graduated with a degree in art education and also served a year as the new member trainer, and her entire member class made their grades. "It seems to be a lifelong habit to think in visual, not so much in words. My long career in art still thrives, although I do more watercolor, oil, and creative sculpture with driftwood, cactus, and dead tree bark. Yes, I guess I thrive on the unconventional, as always." Email: lifecode@aol.com Susan L. Kelpe '73 retired in Wamego Kan., after a 39-year teaching and coaching career. Her last 31 years were spent in California. "Great to be back in Kansas!" Email: susankelpe@att.net Susan Stice Reis '74 is painting and showing her work in St. Louis, Mo. "My work is primarily inspired by the ocean, so perhaps a move in that direction sometime in the next five years." She is also expanding into new fields of surface pattern design, specifically cards and fabric. Hiking, cycling, strength training, and yoga are her other favorite pastimes and she hopes to add some kayaking in the future. Jan Kataoka Eber '82 has been working for The Nature Conservancy for 26 years. She currently serves as the director of operations for the Hawaii Chapter. Dunmire '10 was married to Matthew Swaback in June 2017 in Kansas City. They reside in Overland Park, Kan. Email: megan.dunmire@yahoo.com Madison Wolfe '13 graduated from KU in the fall of 2016 with a bachelor of arts in applied behavioral science with a community health emphasis. Upon graduation she moved to Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines, to complete her college development with an organization that she was a part of during her time at KU. "I am so grateful for my time in Chi Omega and some of my sorority sisters are still my closest friends."
