The stunning 15,696 square- foot restaurant opens Monday, September 2 at 545 Branson Landing. The new restaurant is located on the north end of Branson Landing by BELK. Paula Deen personally visited Branson and knew it would be a wonderful fit for her family-style dinning concept. The Deen family want guests to experience southern hospitality and good food, and with the large crowds already visiting Branson to spend time together, it was a perfect match. Management staff of Paula Deen's Family Kitchen says the core of everything they do, begins with staff who embody Southern Hospitality through and through. And, just like their name suggests, they are a family. From kitchen staff who prepare Paula's recipes to wait staff and retail experts, everyone in the building knows what it means to make visitors feel at home. When you visit, you'll be greeted with a hearty "Hey y'all!" and leave feeling as though you were just sitting around your grandma's dinner table. In fact, patrons help themselves to endless portions of delicious, southern food as they pass dishes around with family and friends in a setting that feels like home. Entree, side dish, and dessert recipes are pulled from the pages of Deen's cookbooks, including favorites such as her Southern Fried Chicken and Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. To add to the experience, guests enter and exit through a Paula Deen retail store. Deen has hand-selected every item to reflect Savannah's rich cultural heritage and luxurious tastes, steeped in decades of her family's culture. In the store, guests can purchase all of Paula Deen's products, including cookbooks, aprons and cookware. Many of the products will be found exclusively in her retail stores.
