The pair have been performing together since they met in high school and play what Travis describes as "a perfect blend of rock- abilly, classic country and roots based music … along with a mix of our original songs." SAM ADAMS — Stand-up comedian and face of the viral "True Color" routine (and subse- quent social media stir) Sam Adams returns to The Lyric Theater in Harrison following his wildly successful visit last December. The African Amer- ican comedian's initial visit to Harrison (home to the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan headquarters) spurred his hilarious "not scared … but concerned" routine, which has since garnered so much attention, a documentary about Adams' story is in the works. Adams' triumphant return will be at 7 p.m. Sept. 7. She was the first female country artist to have three albums in a row certified platinum.
