As shown in Chart G, 43% of interviewees responded "Yes" or "Maybe" to having
an interest in serving as a volunteer. A total of 28 alumnae are willing to serve in a
volunteer role. Table A below Chart G shows the number of alumnae who
expressed an interest in volunteering and what roles they indicated they would be
willing to serve in. Of the 28 alumnae who are interested in these roles, 11 have
previous experience serving on a volunteer board and 12 are willing to solicit for
gifts.

In a successful capital campaign, alumnae from a variety of eras and geographic
locations are needed to serve in leadership roles to increase the effectiveness of
face-to-face solicitations, to encourage potential donors to contribute, and to assist
in organizing fundraising activities. Recruiting the right volunteers who are willing
to solicit their sisters is important to ensuring success in a future campaign. The
