Repeated phone or email messages (an average of four per alumna)
were left for 18 alumnae with no responses.
Ten alumnae expressed interest but did not follow through with a
meeting.
One hundred and four surveys were not completed.
Pennington & Company attempted to locate five alumnae for whom
current contact information was not available.
The chart below gives the breakdown of selected alumnae by era,
willingness to interview, and final number interviewed. During the
interviews, participants received a pre-campaign feasibility study brochure,
gift chart (Appendix B), and an alumnae directory from their era.

3. Interview notes and reports were reviewed and analyzed.
4. Personal interviews were conducted with alumnae who live in the following
geographic areas: Cape Girardeau, Columbia, Kansas City, Kennett, Osage
Beach, and St. Louis, Missouri.
5. The findings were compared with results from other fundraising studies and
campaigns, and the differences and similarities were assessed.
6. Information and data were analyzed in regard to previous giving histories,
including local and international giving records as available.
