Notes from MIZ KΔ KAPPA DELTA | UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI | SUMMER 2019 U pon graduating from the University of Missouri, we all leave Kappa Delta with high hopes of keeping our sisterhood close to our hearts. Unfortunately, we quickly find that many new interests—careers, families, and civic activities—can create valid diversions. The day-to-day activities of life take over and, before long, we fall out of touch and begin to wonder what happened to our sisters. Without a solid alumnae relations program in place, our members lack the means for staying connected to Epsilon Iota. With this in mind, we have launched our new alumnae relations program designed to connect our members. Twice a year we will send out a newsletter, Notes from Miz ΚΔ, focused on all things Epsilon Iota. It will contain house corporation updates, reports on Epsilon Iota Chapter activities, and interviews with undergraduate and alumnae leaders. Once a year, we will mail a biographical update that allows alumnae to update the information we have on record. In fact, you received your biographical update along with this newsletter! Please take this opportunity to update your information and let us know what you have been up to this year. These updates also provide the information for one of the most popular features in the newsletter, the "alumnae news" section. Altogether, the updates are a vital tool in strengthening our ties to one another. Many of you may be wondering why our Mizzou newsletter is coming from a Lawrence address. To help produce this new alumnae communications program, we've partnered with a company that happens to be in Kansas! Our house corporation hopes this newsletter will strengthen our communication efforts by reconnecting alumnae of all decades and rekindling the bonds of sisterhood we all fondly share. We look forward to keeping you updated on everything Epsilon Iota. Love in AOT, Bridgid Smith Kinney '93 House Corporation President (573) 864-8662 bridgid74@gmail.com Keeping Kappa Delta Ties Strong EPSILON IOTA LAUNCHES ALUMNAE RELATIONS PROGRAM Taking in the final moments of their collegiate career, the 2014 member class comes together before gradua on. We are beyond proud of all of them and their accomplishments!
