Thirty- nine percent place Mississippi Beta as a "Medium Priority" and the remaining 14% said it is a "Low Priority." This level of philanthropic interest is average compared to other Pennington & Company feasibility studies. It is important to recognize that prioritization does not necessarily correlate to one's gift estimate but may coincide with their willingness to stretch their giving or appeal to others to join them in support. Without making a commitment, interviewees were asked, "In the event the house corporation board moves forward with a capital campaign, would you expect to make a gift?" As shown in Chart I, 81% indicate they would make a pledge or gift to renovate and expand the Mississippi Beta Chapter house, while 15% were unsure and 4% said they would not make a gift at this time. Alumnae who are undecided shared they would need time to think about contributing, speak with their spouses, and/or evaluate their other philanthropic commitments over the next five years. Top Priority 11% High Priority 36% Medium Priority 39% Low Priority 14% Chart H: Where Does Mississippi Beta Rank Among Your Philanthropic Priorities?
