Come experience the big band sound. 7-9 p.m. Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum (325 Franklin St.): As our community embarks on its newest chapter of baseball, learn about the nearly 150 years of home run hitting heritage in the museum's newest exhibition, Baseball in Fayetteville. Additional permanent exhibits highlight our fascinating local history. Car clubs and car enthusiasts also are welcome to make a pit stop at the museum and revel in the evening. 6-9 p.m. Market House: Take a look inside the Market House and view the temporary exhibit, Lafayette Remembered in Fayetteville, in addition to the permanent exhibit, A View from the Square: A History of Downtown. •••• •
