To ensure your recommendations can be accepted, here are the steps to take now: Update your profile on www.chiomega. com/everyday and make sure to update your email address so we may contact you with any questions. Complete the Recruitment Information Form (RIF) for anyone you would like to recommend to our Chapter. Online RIFs are preferred and can be completed at www.chiomega.com/everyday. Reference the online RIF user manual for the instructions on the submission process. Paper RIFs will also be accepted and can be mailed to Lambda Chapter of Chi Omega, P.O. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Gordon; two daughters, Ann Brown and Amy Ryan; three grandchildren; her brother, Dan Fair; three cousins, and many members of Gordon's family. Betsy Ellen Cacioppo '59, 78, passed on to Chapter Omega July 27, 2018. Survivors include her two sons, Christopher and David; a sister, Amy Sexson; brothers, Michael and Edward O'Hara; and six grandchildren. ALUMNAE UPDATES Jane Blair '59 lives in Yuma, Ariz., and reports, "This Kansas girl is now retired and living in a desert area but still surrounded by wheat fields. This hybrid wheat goes to Italy to be made into pasta. By the way, we're also The Lettuce Capital of the country." Email: janeblair2@gmail.com Rebecca Myers Thomas '59 is the director of the Early Childhood Development Center, which celebrated its 40th year in May 2018. She lives in New York City with her husband, Robert, and they have two children, Brooke and Austin. After 18 years, Becky retired from the boards of the Gateway Schools, Berkshire Choral Festival and Arts Connection. She says, "I loved serving on the board of the WP4KU (Women Philanthropists for KU) with Barbara Criss Marshall '58, and I urge all Chi Omegas to join." Email: cbaughman47@yahoo.com Sherrill Heafley Sanchez '67 lives on a 65- acre farm in Lobelville, Tenn., raising goats and chickens and has a small orchard and an organic garden. Last summer she went on a trip to Ireland and Scotland with her youngest daughter, to Costa Rica to see her oldest son and his family, and plans to return to Scotland for the entire 2019 summer. She lives in Fairfax, Va., and has two sons, Curtis and Gregory. Email: craaberg@aol.com Ann Brent Trigg '83 and her husband, Joe, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary last year. They reside Pacific, Mo., and have two children, Brian (22) and Katie '17 (20). Brian (Sigma Nu) graduated from KU and works in Chicago at Fleishman Hilliard. Ann says, "We live in an old log cabin that was built in 1839. We have six acres, a pony, a dog, cats and chickens. I enjoyed my occupational therapy career, but motherhood was my favorite job!" She enjoys gardening, traveling, photography, church, tutoring for adult literacy, investing in the stock market and taking care of all her "critters." She tours internationally as a lead vocalist and runs a voiceover production studio business, as well as teaches dance, Zumba, and fitness classes. Her husband, Carl, works in commercial real estate, and she sells stationery at a shop in Wichita owned by another KU graduate. She earned a master's in music education last year ("from K-State, though KU will always be first in my heart"). When not teaching, she trains for marathons, sings with the Minnesota Chorale, and loves to travel.
