We are not as well known yet as the Back 40 or Slaughter Pen, but we have City Lake trails and Sager Creek Trails and others. We have all of the outdoor activities you would want." The best downtown While trails and outdoor activities are important to many, some good old-fashion retail therapy is what the doctor ordered for others. "I'm a little biased," Nathan said. "I think we have the best downtown in the area. We have a 90-plus percent occupancy rate. We have a lot of diverse businesses with restaurants and coffee shops and we have home décor and clothing. It's a great place. You can come spend a day and not get bored in any way." The accomplishments made recently in marketing Siloam Springs to locals and visitors could not have been done without the cooperation of the entities who worked together to develop DiscoverSiloam.com. Nathan said it's important the community's residents share the site with friends and those visiting the area. "We have great cooperation in Siloam Springs," he insisted. "We have made sure that we are all working together. It wasn't any one entity that wanted to make this all happen. It wasn't just the chamber or city or Main Street saying, 'Hey, let's do this.' It was all of us. We wanted the whole community to benefit. We wanted to partner on it and make sure the community benefits."
