"These plans will provide
an environment to remain
competitive on campus. And as
anyone who has undertaken
a remodel knows, it's what is
behind those walls that is the
biggest unknown. I'm hopeful
my sisters will rally to fund a
major renovation of our home
at 3030 Daniel."

eginning in fall 2017, a committee of Gamma Phi Beta alumnae was
engaged to explore all potential housing options for the Alpha Xi
Chapter. The committee consulted with engineers and architects; surveyed
current collegiate members, chapter advisers, and current housing board
officers; assessed the competition; and summarized its findings.
The committee determined that the home must:
• Renovate to remain competitive with the other sororities and
university housing, while embracing its past with historic touches;
• Put the safety and health of its residents at the forefront, while not
being a financial burden on current and future members;
• Be technologically sufficient for today and adaptable for future
technology, and energy-efficient; and
• Serve as the hub for sorority members to meet and conduct rituals
as well as provide ample and varied study spaces for individual and
group work sessions.
WE NEED YOUR HELP. We are asking our alumnae to contribute to
our effort to renovate our beautiful home, ensuring our strong foundation
propels us to a stronger future.
What's the Vision?
"Gamma Phi's home at 3030
Daniel is an important part
of our history. Every single
brick, tile, and nail represents
another young woman's life
that is impacted by Alpha Xi.
As other organizations undergo
rebuilds, it warms my heart to
consider future generations will
walk the same halls we did,
in an updated home they can
be proud of. Giving back to
them in this very tangible way
renews my pride in Gamma
Phi."
