A 1970s alumna summed it up by saying, "The truth is that it is all about communication." Using the project highlights and cost estimates, each aspect of the two plans was discussed in detail. Responses are summarized in the following paragraphs. Alumnae were asked to assess how important pursuing a housing project, either the sorority condominium complex or the renovation of the chapter house, would be for future of the chapter. This high ranking of importance is an above-average response compared to other Pennington studies and is a positive indicator that alumnae see the necessity for a housing project and may have a desire to support the project should the alumnae leadership proceed with a campaign.
