Classic Christmas cocktails bring joy to the season december 16 - 22, 2018 What's up! 47 White Christmas Cocktail Ingredients • 1 fluid ounce heavy cream • 1 fluid ounce vodka • 1 fluid ounce peppermint schnapps • 1 fluid ounce white creme de cacao • 1 cup ice cubes • 1 small candy cane (optional) Directions 1. Pour the heavy cream, vodka, schnapps, and white creme de cacao into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled glass, and garnish with a mini candy cane to serve. Hot Buttered Rum Ingredients • 2 cups brown sugar • 1/2 cup butter • 1 pinch salt • 2 quarts hot water • 3 cinnamon sticks • 6 whole cloves • 2 cups rum • 1 cup sweetened whipped cream • Ground nutmeg to taste Directions 1. Combine the brown sugar, butter, salt and hot water in 5 quart slow cooker. Add cinnamon sticks and cloves. Cover and cook on Low for 5 hours. Stir in rum. 2. Ladle from the slow cooker into mugs, and top with whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg. Santa's Little Helper Ingredients • 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger grapefruit vodka (such as Absolut Ruby Red®) • 2 1/2 fluid ounces grapefruit juice • 1 1/2 fluid ounces cranberry juice Directions 1. Combine grapefruit vodka, grapefruit juice, and cranberry juice in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake and strain cocktail into a martini glass. Poinsettias Ingredients • 4 ounces brut Champagne • 1 1/2 tablespoons cranberry juice Directions 1. Pour champagne into a champagne flute, and top with cranberry juice. Rudolph-Tini Ingredients • 2 fluid ounces vodka • 1 fluid ounce hazelnut liqueur, such as Frangelico • 1 fluid ounce coconut flavored rum • 1 fluid ounce half-and-half cream • 2 (4 inch) cinnamon sticks • 1 maraschino cherry Directions 1. Pour the vodka, hazelnut liqueur, rum, and half-and- half into a cocktail shaker over ice. Cover, and shake until the outside of the shaker has frosted. Strain into a chilled martini glass; garnish with the cinnamon sticks to look like antlers, and the cherry on the rim to look like a nose.
