After polish and recruitment week, it was amazing to see all of our hard work pay off with a huge new member class of Real. Strong. Women. Alumnae News Jacqueline Brower Orlando '56 decided to retire from her career in professional psychology at 80 years old. She will, however, remain true to the ideals and principles of ΑΧΩ for the rest of her life. Jackie hopes to remain active at her local chapter by volunteering on game days and alumnae events. E-mail: curnon2@aol.com Celeste Sanchez Brown '60 is a member of the Ocala Alumnae Club and recently attended a dinner at the chapter house for the senior ceremony and surprise for Dorothy Schoonmaker Henderson '47. This year, Celeste caught up with Sallie Spencer Meffert '60 at St. Augustine Beach. They were both in the pledge class of 1959 and Gator cheerleaders. Celeste lives in McIntosh, Fla. Deborah Greenawalt Rabinowitz '77 has been best friends with Dana Lee Csutoros '77 and Tami Thomas Valentine '78 since their college days, when they were roommates in the ΑΧΩ house. This year, they are celebrating their 60th birthday together with a trip to Orlando, Fla., visiting Universal Studios, wine tasting, shopping, and going to a comedy show. "I couldn't ask for better friends," Debbie said. "Sisters in the bond forever!" Debbie lives in La Mesa, Calif. Jessica Fileger '90 has had a challenging leadership role in IT with a global medical device and service company for 10 years. She lives in Northern St. Augustine, Fla., with her two children, Kaitlyn, 13, and Aidan, 10. They like to travel and spend time at the beach. Jessica keeps in touch with her Gamma Iota sisters as much as possible and hopes to make it to more Gator games this season with her kids. She runs @natalieodesign and helps on commercial projects such as coffee shops, breweries, and coworker spaces.
