Frank Janda '50 le Illinois right aer graduation and went to work for RCA in New Jersey and moved to Sarasota in 1957. In 1969, he changed his engineering career and bought a motel. Frank then went on to start a computer and internet business in the early '90s. He is married with three children and eight grandchildren. Vance Fraley '56 and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2017. eir children gave them a trip to France to visit the Normandy beaches and Paris. ey then went to London, Oxford, and Cambridge, as their oldest grandson is a student at Cambridge. ey were also able to visit Blenheim Castle where Winston Churchill was born and the American cemetery for WWII veterans. Vance and his wife spend winters in Bonita Springs, Fla., and are a part of a group of Illinois Alpha alumni that gets together. ey would love to have more join them if they're in the area. E-mail: fraley@ctifiber.com Robert Dunworth '58 retired from law practice in 2007. He is lives in Door County, Wis., with his wife, Mary, of 56 years. He retired from sailing and tennis in 2017, but is still active and remains in good health. He sends love to all brothers. E-mail: nckrause@aol.com John Diserio '61 splits his year between Crystal Lake, Ill., and Jupiter, Fla. John retired in 1995 from Allstate Insurance as the director of pension administration. He is able to see Bruce Martin '61, who also splits his time between Hobe Sound, Fla., and Lake in the Hills, Ill. He enjoys playing Bridge in three different groups and practices his woodwork. Frank Lindberg '66 attended Homecoming last year for his 50th anniversary graduation celebration. He visited the house and donated a book published by the News-Gazette in 2007. Aer earning his bachelor's degree, he received two master's degrees from the University of Hawaii. He and his wife play bridge and enjoy cooking, drinking wine, and gardening with vegetables and flowers. ey would like to take more time to travel. E-mail: follis.bill@gmail.com Charles Valerio '72 is enjoying retirement, especially traveling with friends (including several SigEp brothers) to Machu Picchu earlier this spring. He is also doing volunteer work for the local township and driving for Meals on Wheels. Charles also works part-time as a CNA at Friendship Village Senior Living facility. Saum '86 says, "I had a great time last fall seeing the guys from the mid-'80s. It is amazing how old friends can pick right back up where they le things off so long ago!" Jim reports that aer living in Chicago for a while aer school, he, his wife, and two daughters, Annie and Alison, moved to Charlotte, N.C., where they spent 18 years. ey moved to Dallas, Texas, in 2015 for his job with AT&T where he works with partners in the Alliances Business Development organization. Jim and Karen will celebrate 25 years of marriage this year. Annie is attending Baylor University as an undergraduate and Alison is at Northwestern University as a graduate student. His college sweetheart, Suzanne, will celebrate their 22nd anniversary this summer. ey have three sons: the youngest is in fourth grade, the middle is a freshman in high school, and the oldest is a sophomore at the University of Illinois and a member of the Marching Illinois drumline. He has had the opportunity to travel to Taiwan and Costa Rica over the past year for work. Robert was also selected as the 2017 Panduit Inventor of the Year. He was always proud of Tim's affiliation with SigEp because of its strong principles, and he became friendly with many of Tim's fraternity brothers over the years. During Tim's senior year in 2002, he was selected to give the "SigEp Dad" speech at the BMS banquet. It was a highlight for him, and he oen spoke fondly of that memory, which sadly they don't have on video. Tim loves his father and will miss him dearly.
