Kids for the Cure Founding sponsor, Willard and Pat Walker Charitable Foundation, Inc., invites kids 12 and under, along with their parents, to join in the fun at Kids for the Cure area. This kid-friendly area features food, fun and activities. Kids 12 and under receive a special and uniquely designed Kids for the Cure t-shirt and medal courtesy of Pepperidge Farms. Virtual Runners (formerly Sleep in for the Cure) Not a morning person? Out of town on race day? Register as a virtual runner! Survivor Breakfast Breast cancer survivors and one guest are invited to stop by our Survivor Reunion Breakfast sponsored by Walmart/Sam's Club. Join us at your leisure in the Suite 5165 between 6:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. The survivor parade and photo will lineup outside the breakfast. Good bags provided by The Breast Center, a MANA Clinic along with commemorative medals provided by COTY will be awarded to survivors at the event. Incentives The top 25 fundraisers will be named to our Pink Honor Roll, gain access to the VIPink area on race day, and be honored at our Promise Circle Luncheon. Along with this, fundraisers raising $50 or more will also be eligible for our new rewards program and will receive great prizes for each fundraising level reached. Volunteers New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. Race volunteers will receive a t-shirt in appreciation of their efforts. VIPink Area The top fundraisers and teams will gain access to the VIPink Area, which has been sponsored by Premium Retail Services. This is an exclusive area where the top 10 corporate and friends/family teams can gather before the race to be pampered and meet afterwards to celebrate. The new and improved area will be located behind Dave & Busters adjacent to the Malco Theatre. Perks of the VIPink Area include food and drinks, tented space, VIP port-o-potty, relaxation area, photo op area, and Pink Out area.
