As a national trustee, Zac will be responsible for hir- ing and firing the university president, carrying out the fiduciary responsibilities of the univer- sity, and overseeing the operating budget. A top priority of his is to make college more affordable while increasing the quality of education every student receives. This includes exploring new revenue models with private sector companies and innovators. "This appointment would not have been possible without the strong support of my Beta brothers," Zac said. "I'm also thank- ful to Governor John Kasich, U.S. Senator Rob Portman, and Ohio Senate President Larry Ob- hof for their trust and confidence. I realize I have a tremendous amount to learn and I am eager to get started. I would also appreciate any ideas and thoughts you might want to share as it pertains to higher education or Miami University." A ll brothers (families and friends wel- come) are invited to a special reunion weekend in Oxford as we celebrate the beau- tiful renovation of the chapter house, the suc- cessful rebuilding of Alpha Chapter, and our historic 100-year anniversary at 200 E. High.
