SENIOR EXPO 2018 - April 18, 2018 - 7 Bella Vista Wine and Spirits supports area development Since the Linebarger days, through the Cooper Village development and embracing the move to city-hood, Bella Vista has been a community known for their hospitality. Retail growth continues to try to keep up with the population increase. Villagers who invested in property back in the 1960s and 70s and moved here to enjoy retirement with all the beautiful golf courses, lakes and other outdoor activities, continue to have a voice and presence that deserves respect. There is also a need to welcome and nourish the younger generation and new residents moving into Bella Vista. One village retailer has embraced the challenge to bolster strong community and continue the "village" personality. Bella Vista Wine and Spirits advocates supporting area non-profits and helping to promote hospi- tality and support the area's development. BVWS sponsors village cultural events and are really excited about the new hiking and biking trails and do what they can to promote cultural awareness and tourism, accord- ing to General Manager Mike Landers. "So don't be surprised to hear 'Welcome to Bella Vista' every time you come into the store," says Landers. "It is a short version of our name and we want visitors and all the new folks moving into the village to know that we are eager to promote our long-standing reputation of hospitality. We have a beautiful and vibrant community and, if we continue to maintain the 'village' mentality, Bella Vista will continue to be a popular tourist destination and an awesome place to call home." 705 W.
