SENIOR EXPO 2018 - April 18, 2018 - 11 Bella Vista Courtesy Van provides courteous transportation for community members The Bella Vista Courtesy Van provides courteous transportation for persons in the community who can no longer drive due to age and/or health. It has been in operations for more than 25 years and is an all-volunteer service operating five days a week, with two to three vans transporting Bella Vista residents for medical appointments, shopping and personal services. The area of service is Bella Vista, Jane Walmart, Bentonville and Rogers. The Courtesy Van operations are funded by client and individual dona- tions, local churches and organizations, and foundations. Volunteers consist of 45 van drivers, 13 client schedulers, two maintenance people and 12 board members that give more than 500 hours a month to ensure a successful operation.
