"We are thrilled to receive this award again. It shows that our hard work in improving ourselves and our Chapter has finally paid off," said Chapter President Dustin Casey '18. "is only means that we need to keep im- proving, though. Getting another Buchanan Cup in 2019 starts now." e Executive Council has already reviewed the feedback and will be implementing improvements as soon as possible to ensure that we continue to strive for excellence. Iowa Delta Wins Buchanan Cup at 2017 Conclave Iowa Delta Earns Top GPA at Drake e motto of Sigma Phi Epsilon is Building Bal- anced Men. Here at Iowa Delta, we take each and every aspect of being balanced seriously, especially when it comes to our minds. In the past two years, Drake University has changed their grading policy to become what many would consider more challenging. Iowa Delta faced this change with confidence and increased the role of our VPs of scholarship, Max Raecker '18 and Phillip Co- peland '19. After Max and Phil changed bylaws for the betterment of the house and increased incentives, Iowa Delta won the Top GPA award among all fraternities at Drake University in the spring of 2017. We plan to continue this trend in the future and keep the standard high here at Iowa Delta.
