"My motivation
for contributing
stems from
a belief in
giving back to
an institution
that was a fundamental
part of my development
as a citizen, businessman,
and parent with the hopes
that the values developed
over 170 years of Beta
fraternal life will not cease
in giving young men the
values that I came upon
there. The commitment of
a very dedicated group of
loyal all-age Alpha Betas
in this campaign has been
a tremendous example of
'The first mark of a Beta
is his Beta spirit.' This has
been a most inspirational
collection of effort that
should motivate all Betas
to be involved in such a
story." – John R. Deyo '69,
