Gail will begin on April 2 so she can get familiar with our chapter, our men, and the Oxford community. Humbert '45 was originally initiated into Beta Theta Pi at Bethany College and became a member of Alpha Chapter when he returned from service in World War II and enrolled at Miami. Bill earned his degree in business administration and worked at Buckeye Union Insurance Co. for 30 years. He was an assistant secretary in the sales promotion department. Bill met his wife, Ellen, during childhood as they grew up in the same neighborhood. They lost touch as the years passed, but met again after Ellen's first husband passed away. Bill and Ellen were married for 45 years. He is a sports enthusiast and a loyal Buckeye fan. He loves watching basketball, football, and baseball, and was an avid golfer for many years. Bill is also a convertible car aficionado and owned several in his younger days. He makes his home in Westerville, Ohio. William B. North '62 is working as a security consultant contractor in Sandy Springs, Ga., for four months of the year. William enjoys spending time at the lake and on the river and has traveled to Europe and the Western U.S. E-mail: options37@att.net Gregg L. Miller '77 bought a franchise in ACN in 2015. Gregg spent many years as a teacher for Brookhaven High School and retired from his position in 2015. His record as a football coach while at Brookhaven was 131- 57 and the team won 10 championships in the 17 years he was there. Gregg lives in Gahanna, Ohio. E-mail: coachglm@hotmail.com Robert E. Haley III '84 retired as an FBI agent in September 2015 after 25-plus years of service. Rob now works as a chief security officer for ESS in Birmingham, Ala. Grothaus '93 and Bricia have been married for 17 years and have two boys, Nicholas and Matthew. Roger is the owner of Reynolds Road Animal Hospital, a small animal veterinary hospital.
