Dumpsters are available on the Town Lot just east of Ed Options, 560 E. Coyote (just around the corner from the Police Station, off Plymouth) and the North East corner of Moon Mountain and Quail Trail. Free trash and household goods disposal, however NO TIRES NO HAZARDOUS WASTE NO VEHICLE BATTERIES and NO MOTOR OIL If you need help or cannot get to the dumpsters, call Quartzsite Town Hall at 928-927-4333 to arrange a free pick. The pickups are available on a fi rst come fi rst serve basis. Mark your calendars for future Town wide cleanup dates February 16th - 18th 2018 and May 4th - 6th 2018 It's time to clean up around your home By Anita Carlson The annual Operation Hero Comfort Silent Auction will be held on Sat- urday Dec 9th from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm in the Main Hall at Quartzsite Improvement Assoc.(QIA.) The Soup and Chowder Festival will also be at QIA from noon to 3:00 pm. We will have many items at the auction donated by businesses, vendors and individual people. We always have a wonderful selection and this is a great way to get a Christmas gifts or something for yourself. All money raised will help cover the cost of postage, which is currently $17.35 per box, or to purchase items requested that are not donated. Come over and bid on the items you want, go enjoy soup and chowder and return to see if you need to up your bid. If you can't stay until 4:00 pm that is okay, if you are the winning bid we will call you. We will have a display of cards, letters, certifi cates and fl ags that we have received back from units. We will have Christmas cards to send to the troops for you to sign. If you have items you would like to donate to the auction you can drop them off at the offi ce of the apartments, Readers Oasis bookstore, Busi- ness Chamber of Commerce or call Anita at 763 639-9330 and I will gladly pick them up. We will also have a box/bin for you to donate items that we can put in the boxes. We will also be having a Yard Sale on Jan 20th and 21st. We will gladly take any donations for that as well.
