There will be four Lots on Felspar will be participating. Time: 8 am to 3 pm For several years, I hosted a Christmas Boutique at my house in Rainbow Acres. Many of you have asked if that is to happen again. The answer being YES! We have since then moved down further into the Rainbow Acres development and are located on Felspar. This year's event will be held on four different lots on Felspar and will feature a number of local art- ists and crafters. We have several like, Oney Budge, Nancy Nichols, Sharon Noller and Teresa Young already signed up and we will promise you that others will be joining them. Thanks to my neighbor and friend, Sharon Noller, we have planned this new event and new venue. Bigger, better and free. A fabulous place to come and shop at your lei- sure while again enjoying cookies and hot spiced cider. Christmas is right around the corner and there will be many items that you can shop from. Also new this year we will be sell- ing raffle tickets for some amaz- ing and beautiful gifts and dona- tions. Tickets will be available at $1.00 per ticket or six for $5.00. All procedds will be given to our newly renamed food bank Carol's Cupboard. Please be sure to mark your calendars and come and en- joy some special time with us. Maggie Ross and Sharon Noller La Paz Regional Hospital will have a presentation in the Town Hall on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. regarding the services they offer, including those at the Hospital and the local Clinic. the items received by the local Quartzsite Food Bank county pro- gram. In 2017 there was a need for the county to turn it over to a non- profit and so FQFB is now operating as administrator for the Food Bank. FQFB is a 501c3 non-profit orga- nization. All the money we raise is used to help the Quartzsite Food Bank. The board members do not receive any salary. The items they purchase are im- portant staples that are often not supplied by our distributors. They have difficulty receiving eggs, meat items, daily staples and often fresh vegetables. The Quartzsite Food Bank serves a community of many seniors, young families with children who live be- low the poverty level. Disabled adults are also among those that we help provide food for. Individuals need more than just canned and packaged food. They need healthy protein and vitamins only obtained by providing fresh items. The Quartzsite Food Bank also serves the towns of Cibola, Ehrenberg and Bouse. In the winter months our population explodes with the snow- birds coming here. Most do not use the food bank's services but there are many that do which puts an ex- tra need on the FQFB. Please join the community at noon on Monday, November 13th for the ribbon cutting.
