This free Family friendly event will feature food, music, games and more. It is a festival to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and will include activities and entertainment for all ages. Attend this event and learn about what the VFW Auxiliary does and what we can offer you. Discover educational scholarships we offer and support and learn how to apply and about the other programs we do on a daily basis to help our Veterans and their families. The VFW Auxiliary is one of the nation's oldest veterans service orga- nizations and our members are the relatives of those who have served in overseas combat. We have nearly 500,000 members representing all 50 states who volunteer millions of hours and give millions of dollars to support veterans, military service personnel and their families. We are a voice for veterans on Capital Hill and are instrumental in assisting the VFW pass or block legislation that impacts veterans and their families. There will be a set up available on the Friday before the festival, which will be held at Tyson Wells Show- grounds again this year, thanks to Kym Scott. You can come in on Fri- day, November 24, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. or on Saturday, November 25 at 7am to set up before the festival opens to the public at 9 a.m. Applications are now being tak- en at the Business Chamber offi ce for this event and you must supply your own tables, chairs, and table- cloths to cover the tables. All en- trants will be asked to donate one of their items for the raffl e. The cost of the weekend festival is only $25 per space, with no double spaces al- lowed except outside the building. There are limited spaces inside the building, but plenty of spaces in the outside areas. Security will be pro- vided during Friday and Saturday nights on premise. All entrants must have handcrafted or homemade items and should set up their tables with a Christmas theme if possible.
