Bill "Kid" Crowe '71 reports: "On April 17, I ran the amazing Boston Marathon for the ninth straight year. The weather was a bit warm which made for slower times than hoped for by me and many others. However, I was still able to finish with a time that will qualify me for next year's race. Ten years has been my goal for a while now and it feels great to have a chance to achieve that. I'll probably decide a year at a time from then on. My wife, Mary, also ran but had a bad day. She has since re-qualified at Buffalo so we will both be at next year's Boston (her eighth). We are very much addicted to this spectacular event! Thanks to Lynn and Bob Barnes '71 for once again (maybe four times now!) coming to see us run the race. Mary and I both greeted them at the 16-mile mark and then stopped for lunch at their home in Sturbridge the next day on our way home." Jack Belletete '70 celebrated his 69th birthday in Jaffrey, N.H., on June 22. Pictured are Bill Wurst '71, Bob Shortle '74, Jack Belletete, '70, and Jim Munger Banghart '69.
