Chris Lee '15 proposed to Meg Senack on February 19. She said yes! RUFF NOTES Rod Blumenau '65 of Oedipus and the Mothers fame, played the piano at the funeral of Bob Glaess '65 in Rochester in April. Oedipus was the house band in the mid-1960s and they played at both the 2013 Pomeroy Chapter House dedication and Homecoming 2015. Bob passed away on a scuba diving accident in the Caribbean. Joan and Dan Burt '69 continue to be there for Joyce Serocke, whose husband, Zoomer, AKA Chris "Topher" Serocke '71, died suddenly in September 2016. Jim "Crambell" Campbell' 70 said his business is doing well, particularly the oven side of Campbell Cabs. Paul Jossman '70 made the wake the night before the funeral of John Schroeder '69. Bob "FUBAR" Barnes '71 retired this spring and Chuck Golden '71 is also finally hanging it up at 68. PJ Cosgrave's '72 second daughter, Missy, is getting married September 30 in Napa, Calif. Bill "Turk" Wurst '71, former House Corpation president and Seven Lights recipient, became a grandfather for the fifth time as Samantha was born in April to Heather and Pete "Zurst" Wurst '04. Alan Rau Crain '73 retired this year from Baker Hughes as SVP and general counsel. Alan "HJ" Hanbury '74 continues to recover from his back surgery this spring. Bob "Barney" Shortle '74 retired during the spring. Eddy "Lucky" Youngkin '74 retired this spring after 41 years of work for York Air Conditioner (now Johnson Controls). Greg "Flip" Chilson '75 joined Ed, Ruff, Herb Arbeiter '72, and HJ at the Belmont in June. Chuck Shuey '75, on the east coast of central Florida, reported a visit by Bobby Joe Feldman '75 and Donny Wemple '75 in April. Golf season is upon us in northern Virginia and is hoping to get out golfing with the young Delta Psi Sigs who have now populated Arlington, Virginia. They include Evan Kaiser '15 and Adam Weltz '14; the latter arriving in Virginia in June. Michael Hansen '14 has created and produced a new game called Manicdotes, on sale now! Michael runs the Delta Psi alumni Super Bowl and March Madness tournaments. ALUMNI UPDATE (Continued from page 3) Work Party 2017 August 25-27 W ork Party 2017 is scheduled for August 25-27. The annual meet- ing of the members for the Phi Epsilon Phi House Corporation will be held on that Friday night. Updates on the progress of this weekend will be distributed through e-mail and will be available on our social media outlets.
