2 The DELTA PSI SIG Congrats, Spring 2017 Grads! Bob "Justa" Eckart '73 Awarded Chapter Advisor of the Year I n May, Bob "Justa" Eckart '73 was honored by the RPI Greek community. They awarded Justa his second consecutive Chapter Advisor of the Year, and, wait for it, they renamed the award the Bob Eckart Chapter Advisor of the Year award. John Pfaff '71 gushed proudly, "I can't begin to tell you how proud we are of Justa, and it's wonderful to know that RPI's Greek community recognizes Bob's accomplishments and talents." Bob Eckhart '73 is awarded his second consecutive Chapter Advisor of the Year honor. D uring the 2017 Greek awards, Sigma Chi excelled. Delta Psi won the President's Cup for the second year in a row. The cup is given to the fraternity achieving the highest overall success in the Five Star Awards and Accreditation process. The chapter also won the following Excellence Awards: ritual, membership recruitment and development, and leadership development and campus involvement awards. The Servant Leader of the Year award went to Sean Waclawik '18, and the Greek Man of the Year went to Marvin Cosare '18. At the Sigma Chi Workshop in July 2016, RPI won the top Risk Management award including a $2,500 stipend for risk program fire safety. Awards for 2017 were not available at press time. In addition to the President's Cup, Delta Psi won the 8th consecutive Peterson Award (Gold Level) from Sigma Chi at Balfour Workshop. Not pictured is Sean Waclawik '18. T o honor the passing of Doug Doskocil '83 into Chapter Eternal, members of the class of 1983 welcome all brothers to join them at RPI Homecoming on October 13-15. The events will include a White Rose ceremony for Doug and all Delta Psi brothers who have recently recorded their names on the Chapter Eternal roll book.
