Other activities include the Cruisin' Casar Car Show and live music. Fireworks will take place at dark. All activities are free. For more information search for "Casar's July 4th Celebration" on Facebook. Crouse Crouse will hold its 25th annual Fourth of July parade at 4 p.m. on July 4, 2017. Participants will line up start- ing at 3 p.m. at the Crouse United Methodist Church located on Pleasant Grove Church Road in Crouse. Crouse United Methodist Church will provide bottled water and will allow use of restrooms in the church fellowship hall. Entry for the parade is free, and entrants are encouraged to be creative and to decorate with a patriotic theme. Last year an esti- mated 1300+ people lined the parade route, the larg- est crowd ever to view the parade, and the crowd is expected to be even larger this year. Fallston The Fallston Fun Fest will take place on Saturday, July 1, 2017. The opening ceremony will take place at Fallston Elementary School and will be followed by kids' games/rides, cake walks and a wide variety of food. Kings Mountain Kings Mountain's "Revolutionary 4th Red, White & BOOM Celebration" will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at the Walking Track Park, 211 Cleveland Avenue, Kings Mountain. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. New this year is the Kids' Zone, which will include a drum circle, activities from the Scrap Exchange and inflatables. The Loch Norman Pipe Band will be there to lead a pre-fireworks parade, and a scene from "Liberty Mountain – The Revolutionary Drama" will be performed. Live music will feature the Dukes & Smith Band and Southern Experience. The evening will conclude with fireworks. Visitors are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair to the field within the walking track at the park. Lattimore Lattimore's Fourth of July Celebration will begin with a parade featuring floats, tractors, horses and antique cars at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. After the parade, a patriotic program and blue- grass entertainment will be featured at the recreation park of Lattimore Baptist Church. Concessions and lunch will be available, and entertainment will be provided by The Trailblazers. Mooresboro Mooresboro will kick off its annual July 4th Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by the Golden Valley Crusaders. Food will be available for purchase, and inflatables will be available for children's entertain- ment. The day will conclude with fire- works at dark. Participants are encour- aged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Shelby Shelby's July 4th celebration will take place at the City Park Tuesday, July 4, 2017, begining at 9 a.m. with the horse shoe tournament. This will be followed by a corn hole tournament at 10 a.m. Cash prizes will be given for first and second places in each tournament. It will also be $1 Day at the city pool, with everyone admitted for $1 from 1-6 p.m. Children 12 and under must be accom- panied by an adult.
