Leadership Fayetteville began in 1982 upon the premise
that a great community depends upon sound leadership.
Representatives from a diverse collection of businesses and
organizations all over Cumberland County have participated
in this incredible program to do just that very thing…develop
sound leadership.
The objective of Leadership Fayetteville is to educate,
challenge, and motivate traditional and non-traditional
leaders to utilize their leadership skills in working towards the
betterment of our ever-changing community.
The time investment for this program is one day a month
from 8 am to 5 pm for nine months running from September
through May. Leadership development is enhanced through
hands-on experience and information sessions given by some
of our community's most influential trailblazers. Topics range
from local government and health to arts and entertainment,
to name but a few.

Fayetteville program is August 4.
NOT JUST FOR ADULTS…..
Knowing our area's youth hold the key to our community's future,
the Greater Fayetteville Chamber also offers the Leadership
Fayetteville Youth Academy program. For rising High School
Juniors living in Cumberland County, this program is structured
to encourage our area's youth to become the future leaders in
our community. Beyond the $25 application fee, there is no cost
to the students who participate in this program. Operating funds
for Leadership Fayetteville Youth Academy are obtained through
generous corporate sponsorships. For information on how your
