He passed away from congestive heart failure on Decem- ber 31, 2016 in Las Vegas Nevada. He is survived by his wife Carol Cal- lison and his three children, Joe Callison, Terry Cisco and Kimmy Peno. He and his wife spent many years in Fontana, California where they owned and operated Fon- tana Concrete. When they left Califor- nia to settle in Quartzsite they owned and operated Callison Construction for a number of years. Later, they opened Stagecoach Restaurant and Motel in Quartzsite, Arizona. Stubby was a kind, thoughtful man who had a great love of animals of all sorts. He will be missed by all who knew him. It's front feet were HUGE: four toes together and an ENORMOUS one that stuck straight out to the side. It was other-world beautiful: the palest, most radiant, blue eyes I've ever seen; off-white fur with a golden glint; wisps of brown on its forehead and the tips of its ears. The notch in the tip of its left ear told me it had been "around the block" of life a couple of times.
