Good luck, Jonathan! by Joanne Winer The weather fi nally cooperated this past Saturday and the Quartzsite Historical Pageant "A Walk in the Past" was held at the Hi Jolly Cemetery. Were we ever glad we decided to postpone it for a week after all the rain that came last Satur- day! This week was just perfect and the people loved it. The event was sponsored by the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Town of Quartzsite, the Quartzsite Historical Society and the Quartzsite Cemetery Board. They all worked very hard for this event. They want to say a very special thank you to Dinice Ross (sorry she couldn't make it this week), who works with the Cemetery Board. It was her idea for this pageant several years ago and used to be held in the fall as a Spirit Walk around Halloween. She always did such a great job! Her idea was to have people take on the role of early pio- neers who are buried in our pioneer section of the cemetery Quartzsite Council members Quartzsite Council members P | Q E S | S RAIN G-B | S RAIN G-B
