The couple recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. He has been retired for 17 years and is a member of the Lyceum Club. Redden Jr. '56 recently moved to Ave Maria, Fla., after having lived in Jackson, Miss., for 54 years. Walter has been a member of Rotary since 1978 and attends a weekly Bible study. He and his wife, Annette, have been married 57 years. Rush Abbott Peace '57 was named the 2015 Middle Georgia Humanitarian Doctor of the Year by the Middle Georgia Medical Society. He is active in various civic activities and enjoys family activities with his sons and grandsons. Arthur C. Tanner '61 retired in 1996 and is enjoying every minute. He and his wife, Marjorie, have traveled to Honduras eight times to help install water purification systems. The two have been active in the Living Waters for the World organization, as well as the Presbyterian Church. Wood Jr. '62 reports that after graduation he spent two years in West Point, Miss., as a pharmacist, followed by one year as a drug representative in Tennessee, and then lived in Charleston for 38 years. Houston III '66 retired as a judge in 2013 for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and now works as an attorney for Mitchell, McNutt & Sams, P.A. David's four children, Laura, David, Beth, and Locke, are all graduates of the University of Mississippi and three are graduates from the university's School of Law.
