The couple recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary. He has been retired for 17 years and is a member of the Lyceum Club. Redden Jr. '56 recently moved to Ave Maria, Fla., after having lived in Jackson, Miss., for 54 years. Walter has been a member of Rotary since 1978 and attends a weekly Bible study. He and his wife, Annette, have been married 57 years. Rush Abbott Peace '57 was named the 2015 Middle Georgia Humanitarian Doctor of the Year by the Middle Georgia Medical Society. He lives in New Albany, Miss. E-mail: thhamilton@msn.com William H. Myers '61 has been enjoying retirement since 2009—previously, he served as the attorney general of Oregon. He is active in various civic activities and enjoys family activities with his sons and grandsons. Arthur C. Tanner '61 retired in 1996 and is enjoying every minute. He and his wife, Marjorie, have traveled to Honduras eight times to help install water purification systems. The two have been active in the Living Waters for the World organization, as well as the Presbyterian Church. Arthur is also a charter member of the Chesapeake Chorale and the proud owner of 29 solar panels on his home. The couple resides in Bowie, Md. E-mail: a-c-tanner@verizon.net B. D. Wood Jr. '62 reports that after graduation he spent two years in West Point, Miss., as a pharmacist, followed by one year as a drug representative in Tennessee, and then lived in Charleston for 38 years. In 2002, he and his wife, Sheila, moved back to West Point. He enjoys helping raise his two granddaughters and playing golf. E-mail: granhappy@att.net William G. Eckhardt '63 retired in the summer after teaching for 23 years at the University of Missouri Kansas City's school of law. He also served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corp., for 30 years. He was recently elected to the board of directors of the Mississippi Historical Society, is a member of the William Faulkner Society, the Tennessee Williams Literary Festival, and Friends of the Cabildo in New Orleans. He enjoys traveling abroad each year, volunteering at the UMMC School of Dentistry, and coaching youth league basketball. He and his wife, Lea, reside in Madison, Miss. Hughes Jr. '65 remained active with the University of Mississippi, holding a position as president for the university's School of Business Alumni Association, as well being a member of the board of directors for the University of Mississippi Alumni Association. Daniel was also on the Business Advisory Council for the university. His father and son are both Eta Chapter alumni. He lives in Jackson, Miss, with his wife, Sarah. David W. Houston III '66 retired as a judge in 2013 for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court and now works as an attorney for Mitchell, McNutt & Sams, P.A. David's four children, Laura, David, Beth, and Locke, are all graduates of the University of Mississippi and three are graduates from the university's School of Law. Fraiser III '76 is the author of 18 books and novels, including Shadow Seed and French Quarter of New Orleans. He has also appeared in 25 movies, such as playing the veterinarian in My Dog Skip. Cox III '88 is an associate professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He works in the otolaryngology department and primarily practices facial plastics and reconstructive surgery. Additionally, he and his spouse, Hope, had their first child. Barry W. Holcomb Jr. '91 lives in Durango, Colo., with his wife, Heather, where he works as a pulmonologist in southwest Colorado.
