Yes, in the autumn of next year, it will have been 100 years since Beta Rho Chapter was established and was provided funds by Harvey Griffin to acquire an old mansion at 722 South Willson Avenue. The organizing committee is planning an action-packed weekend full of celebration and fun, where you can meet the brothers of the active Beta Rho Chapter and experience the Montana State University and Bozeman area of today. Activities are being arranged so you will have ample opportunities to reconnect with brothers from your time at MSU and meet brothers from other generations. We have scheduled this celebration in early September so as not to conflict with the usual Homecoming weekend activities later in the month. Also, the weather is usually perfect for outdoor activities in early September. There is an MSU Big Sky football game scheduled on September 9 and we are planning pre- and post-game activities. This 100-year celebration is truly a milestone for Beta Rho and MSU. You and your guest can join us to experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Gallatin River or golf at a challenging course in the Valley with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Explore the MSU campus of 2017 or tour and experience historic downtown Bozeman. There will be ample time to visit the world-famous Museum of the Rockies or enjoy a sunny afternoon floating on the Madison River. You can also relax and wander to revisit places of old at your leisure or explore new developments in Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley. The organizing committee includes Bill Gum '66, Rick Dissly '66, Al Kaul '13, Dillon Haskell '14, Norm Achen '66, Colton Coffee '17, Chapman Hewett '17, and Jen Poser of the MSU Alumni Relations Department. They will be working diligently to firm up our plans over the coming months.
