Epsilon Omicron Maintains
Strong Footing on Campus
Undergraduates Raise $10,000 in Philanthropic Efforts, Ensure Chapter Success
E
psilon Omicron is having an incredible and extremely busy fall
semester. Last December, our newest initiated class made their
debut as active brothers at the candlelight dinner hosted by the Mothers'
Club. With our fall 2016 pledge class, we gained 32 outstanding young
men whose academic interests reflect the intellectually strong facets of
Sigma Nu, including majors in environmental engineering, biochemistry,
premedicine, business administration, and public policy.
Brothers Demonstrate Academic Excellence
Our academics this year once again surpassed the all-men's average and
undergraduate average with an impressive 3.4 GPA. More than 50 brothers
had above a 3.5 GPA, qualifying them as recipients of the Dean's List
award.
Members Lead on Campus and in the Community
This year has been outstanding for Epsilon Omicron's philanthropic
efforts. We participated in nine different sorority philanthropic events and
raised $10,000 at our 42nd annual bonfire event, which supports the Jed
Foundation. The foundation works to promote mental health awareness
and prevent suicide among college and university students. In addition,
brothers also contributed their personal time to make sandwiches for the
local food kitchen in downtown Los Angeles.
Grateful for Alumni Support
I could not be more impressed with the work our Chapter is doing. Epsilon
Omicron has a close brotherhood that works to support one another
in each of our unique endeavors. If you have any questions about our
Chapter, please do not hesitate to contact me. We appreciate the love and
support we receive from our alumni and we wish the best for you and your
families. Teneo and Fight On!
