8 Lyre Notes Betty Adams Crouch '57 appreciates the friendship of the Alpha Chi sisterhood! She and her husband, William, live in Creve Coeur, Mo. Email: bcrouch1@charter.net Mary Johnson Lipscomb '57 has lived in Albuquerque for 30 years, where she serves as the chairman of the Beta Gamma Beta alumnae chapter scholarship program. She likes to travel, belongs to a book club, plays golf and bridge and volunteers. Retirement is great and she highly recommends it! Barbara "Bo" Barley Fairfax '58 spent two months in Birmingham, Ala., where her son, Brett, lives with his wife, Karla, and their two daughters. She has also been able to spend some time with her older son, Ken, his wife, Donna, and their children. Bo lives in Eureka, Mo. Peck Rosebrough Sparks '60 still works because she loves her job helping patients at a doctor's office. She is also still an active Avon representative and has been for more than 37 years. Peck lives in St. Charles, Mo., with her husband, Clifford. This year, she will travel to Japan and Tuscany, Italy, for a cooking school and will cruise the West Indies. When Diana isn't traveling, she lives in Arvada, Colo. Karen Eddy Smith '61 substitute teaches at Wayzota High School in Plymouth, Minn., does church work, volunteers, travels and attends productions at the Guthrie Theater and Minnesota Opera. She and her husband, John, have one high school-age and two college- age grandchildren who bring much joy to their lives. In February, they visited the Canadian Rockies; in September, they went to Provence, France and Barcelona, Spain. Their family and friends are mostly in New England, so they are able to stay close. Karen and her husband, Ronald, live in Ballwin, Mo., and try to see their grandchildren at least twice a week. Catherine Miller youngblood '67 has six wonderful grandchildren and enjoys retirement. She lives in Sealy, Texas, with her husband, David.
