T he women of Alpha Nu chapter had another unforgettable Spring 2016 semester, filled with accomplishments and triumphs. It is my privilege to relay some of our activities from the past few months. GPA ABOvE ALL-SORORITy, ALL-FEMALE AvERAGE Our dedicated members continued the chapter's legacy of academic achievement by earning a 3.392 grade point average, which was even better than the average from last semester. This included an astonishing 23 members with a perfect 4.0! This was also significantly above the all-sorority and all-female average GPA. SISTERS SuPPORT LOCAL SHELTER Last semester, the chapter raised money for our local beneficiary, True North Domestic Violence Shelter. The women of Alpha Nu teamed with the men of Alpha Kappa Lambda for our annual These Hands Don't Hurt event and raised $5,890. CAMPuS CONNECTIONS Alpha Chi Omega also excels in campus involvement. We were honored and thrilled to receive third place overall in Greek Week and first place in the RAMS annual lip-syncing dance event called Rock-It. In addition, individual members proudly represent Alpha Nu in prominent leadership positions. Several Alpha Chi Omega women served on the executive board for MizzouThon, previously known as Dance Marathon, and Amanda Farrer '13 serves as president of Mizzou's Panhellenic Association. We are so proud of all our members and the wonderful things they continue to do. Thank you for all of your support for the Alpha Nu chapter. Please feel free to stop by the chapter house at any time. We look forward to hearing from you!
