Every Saturday beginning at 9 a.m generous folks, who have gar- dens, come and contribute vegetables to the project. At precisely 10 a.m. volunteers bag and give out the fresh vegetables to those in need. This "neighbors helping neighbors" ministry is appropriately called "God's Garden" and this Saturday will be their fourth week of serving. You can find "God's Garden" at the rear of Polkville Baptist Church, which is located at 4214 Polkville Rd., (Hwy 226 N.) in Polkville. –M. A. Piedmont Shrine Club Presents $ North Shelby's "Hearts 3,500 To The Piedmont Shrine Club held a Fish Fry for North Shelby's "Hearts and Hooves" program in April raising close to $3,500.00. These proceeds will be used for continued building enhancements to benefit North Shelby's therapeu- tic riding program.
