Services were held at Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Julius H. and Dora Johnson Ross; three brothers, Burdell Ross, Jimmy Ross and Julius Ross, Jr. and a sister, Betsy Young. He is survived by four children, Katina Wray-Smith (William) and Jeffery J. Ross of Shelby, Jermaine Ross of MI and Jy-vin Ross of Gastonia; his brothers and sisters, Nancy Bridges and Steve Ross (Ollie Mae) both of Waco, J.R.
