Celebrating
Sisterhood and
Career Success
Second Annual Kappa Konnections Brings
Undergraduates and Alumnae Together
T
he second annual Kappa Konnections was a huge success
with over 50 undergraduates and alumnae in attendance.
Hosted at the beautiful Fashion Design Center in Denver, the
cheerfully decorated room was perfect for catching up with
friends and making new ones. The photo booth helped to capture
memorable moments from the event and a scavenger hunt was
arranged as an icebreaker for attendees to learn more about their
sisters in the room.
Fellow Kappa business owners were invited to set up tables,
providing great inspiration as well as a networking opportunity
for our undergraduates. Tables included Amy Eskola '06,
lawyer; Suzie Gunsauls '82, Rodan + Fields; Katie Edmiston
'96, Arbonne consultant; Calyn Crow '91, counselor; and
Shea McQuaid Peterson '03, SheadyBaby and Co. While
enjoying delicious catered appetizers from Romanos, small
groups with both undergraduates and alumnae met to discuss
future career paths and life learnings. It was a great opportunity
for undergraduate members to ask questions and connect with
alumnae of several generations.
Epsilon Beta's very own Kappa Pickers then preformed
sisterhood songs and the afternoon wrapped up with a gift card
drawing, Kappa tote bags, and, of course, a group photo. It was
wonderful day to celebrate with our sisters.
