Catherine Kay
Abeyta '15, an active
member of Epsilon
Beta, entered Chapter
Eternal April 24 doing
what she loved, skiing.
Her death rocked our
chapter, but the result
was that of love and
happiness knowing we
all got to be a part of her life and we all have
each other to lean on now. Catie will be missed
deeply and strongly by all, but her legacy of
living every day to the fullest, and with pure
love and happiness, will be carried on.
"(Catie) taught me the mountains were my home,
long car rides lead to the best conversations,
and that it's okay to be vulnerable because you
can't help being human," Demi Connelley
'15 said. "Sharing each memory with you was
precious to me and the impact you made on my
life was unforgettable."
There are no words that can perfectly sum
up our dear sister, Catie; who she was, how
much she loved others, and how much others
loved her. The lasting impact that Catie had
on everyone she met is undeniable. She loved
strongly, was courageous, adventurous, and
ambitious.
IN MEMORY OF OUR SISTER
Catherine Kay Abeyta '15

"Catie was one of the most vibrant and lovable people
I know. She showed us how to live and not be scared
to do so. The hearts Catie touched will always be a
little broken, but knowing that we have a beautiful
angel watching down on us will help repair it."
