Entry packets are available at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center at the Front Desk. Packets may be picked up Monday – Thursday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m and Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. Packets are avail- able on-line for print at www. nealseniorcenter.org as well. Senior Games is now open to participants age 50 and better! Senior Games is an exciting health promo- tion program for adults 50 years of age and better. There are a wide range of activities designed for individuals at various fitness levels. Some of these activities are pickleball, golf, bowling, tennis, track, softball, basketball, swim- ming, horseshoes, croquet, cornhole, billiards, and more. Interested in participating in Senior Games? Tips on Safe Senior Driving Taught by A NC State Trooper The Neal Senior Center, located at 100 T.R. Harris Drive, Shelby will hold a Safe Senior Driving seminar on March 15 at 10:00 a.m. The seminar will be taught by a North Carolina State Trooper. Subjects being discussed include: •How do your medications affect your driving? •Is a seat belt really necessary? •Let's talk about child restraint requirements for your pas- sengers under the age of 8. •What do I do if I'm involved in a collision? •How to stay safe on my travels •Rule of the Road - New laws. Join us for a "Green and Gold" lunch at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center on March 17, between 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Who can wear the most green? Lunch includes one entrée, two side dishes, bread, bev- erage, and a dessert for $5.50 for seniors age 55 and better or $6.00 for adults below the age of 55. No reservation required.
