Jess Ewald '17, Trevor Eckert '17, Brian Rosebrook '17, and Andrew Nolan '17 at the Grand Ole Opry House for Conclave 2015. 4 OKLAHOMA ALPHA Alpha Artery W ith fall semester underway, I am proud to share the success that Oklahoma Alpha has had. It has been an honor to serve as chapter president with such dedicated men. We have had many accomplishments this year and have set goals to push us to the next level. Our members have made a commitment to build a stronger chapter and we are following through on that pledge. SIGEP WELCOMES 50 NEW MEMBERS The recruitment team, led by Jesse Fate '17, exceeded expectations this summer and we have 50 new members joining our ranks. This brought the chapter total to 125 men. We are extremely proud of the recruitment team's efforts and are excited to see what the new members bring to our chapter. VP OF MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT ATTENDS RUCK LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE Oklahoma Alpha has a long history of members attending the Ruck Leadership Institute, a five-day event to push SigEp's top rising leaders to explore their potential. This year, Levi Close '17 was in attendance. He is our vice president of membership development this year and has done an excellent job developing his leadership potential. We are eager to see how he leads us in the future. OK ALPHA LEADS BMP As of May 2015, we have implemented the Balanced Man Program to its full extent. Our quick transition to BMP allowed me to be one of eight chapter presidents selected to author and pass historic legislation at Conclave that ends pledging and requires all chapters to align with the BMP. We are now recognized leaders on a national level because of our continued pursuit of excellence. THANK YOU, LOYAL ALUMNI This fall, we were paired with the women of Kappa Delta for Freshman Follies. We are excited to see what the rest of the semester has in store for us. As always, we are grateful for the support and guidance we receive from our alumni. Oklahoma Alpha is working hard to honor those who came before us and set the standard for those who follow.
