Memorial services were held at Second Baptist Church. Mr. Blanton was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Joan Blanton. He is survived by his parents, Ray and Jerleen, and brothers, Christopher A. Blanton of Conley Springs, NC and Lewis S. Blanton of Bessemer City, NC. Carpenter's Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family. Graveside services were held at Cleveland Memorial Park. Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her husband, Don McIntyre; her parents, Holland Brice and Opal Price Jones; a stepson, Donnie McIntyre; and a brother, Richard Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Leanne England and husband, Terry of Boilings Springs, NC. Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
