Downtown Fayeeville is alive with patriotism. It's no
secret that Downtown is full of culture and history, but did

Downtown packs tons of specialty shops and boutiques,
and unique, one-of-a-kind restaurants provide the perfect
way to spend the week of July 4th!
The North Carolina summer has set in yet again, and that
means one thing: It's hot! And there's no beer way to cool
off than with a cold drink or ice cream! Be sure to stop in
The Coffee Cup, First Date Coffee House, Marquis Market,
or Rude Awakening coffee house for a delicious iced drink of
your choosing. Or stop in Sweet Surprise for some ice cream,
perfect for cooling you down aŒer a long day of shopping!
There's no beer time to visit the Airborne and Special
Operations Museum than on July 4th! Bring the whole
family and explore and learn at the various exhibits while
honoring those who have fought for our freedom.
Looking to be active on the 4th? It's not too late to register
for the Firecracker 4 Miler, taking place in beautiful
Downtown! The run, held by the Fayeeville Running
Club, works to support their mission "to promote running
as part of a healthy lifestyle in our community." The four
mile course winds through historic parks and museums
Downtown, highlighting what our wonderful Downtown
has to offer for both visitors and locals alike. The course
starts and finishes on the streets of Fayeeville at the
intersection of Walter & Hillsboro Streets which is located
between the N.C. State Veterans Park and the Airborne &
Special Operations Museum. Those wishing to participate
can register on active.com. Happy Birthday America!
