Page 3 SP I t pleases me to be able to say that things at the Alpha Iota Chapter are going quite well and moving in a positive direction. Our chapter continues to show dedication to our creed through community service by helping out at G.R.A.C.E., our local food bank, as well as holding service projects at Truman Elementary and Rolla Apartments. Last semester we also showed our dedication to scholarship and ranked third in grades among all Greek organizations and plan to raise our chapter GPA. Recruitment continues to improve with the addition of spring pledges and our new incoming freshman scholarship. This past semester has proven our resilience in the face of adversity; thanks to the tireless efforts of our members, our chapter has made important strides toward becoming a force on campus once again. Looking forward, our chapter is in a pivotal place for growth. Currently we only have two members that we are going to lose to graduation this spring, which should allow for an immediate jump in membership to 40+ members. We also plan to overhaul and continuously improve our Sigma Pi Is Poised for Growth Chapter FoCuses on aCademiCs, reCruitment, and alumni involvement Members rake leaves at a local retirement home. scholarship, recruitment, new member education, and alumni programs to grow as an organization, and most importantly as a brotherhood of Sigma Pi men. I would like to extend an invitation to all alumni to visit the house at any time. At Homecoming, we had the largest alumni turnout in recent years and it is always a pleasure to hear stories from past members.
