Last year was the first year the application went online with the collaboration of St. Louis graduates through the St. Louis Scholarship Foundation. We received over 200 applications—a big leap from last year's submission. AVMS provided three scholarships to talented students who are truly making a difference: Kevin Ponder '15, studying engineering; Mitchell Patkins, first-year student at St. Louis University; and Taylor Sutcliffe, a first-year medical student in Chicago. We continue to make the memory of Andrew Vidal live on in fellowship and helping others achieve their educational goals. Please visit www.avmsfund.com to learn more about Andy. For more information on our scholarship, please visit https://stlouisgraduates.academicworks.com/opportunities/781. The Quest for Excellence Scholarship T wo $500 scholarships will be made available to incoming freshmen next year through the AIEF. One recipient will be an incoming pledge of Sigma Pi and the other will be a nonmember. All incoming male freshmen to Missouri S&T were mailed an invitation to apply for the scholarship. Online applications are available at http://sigmapialphaiota. org/scholarship. Applications must be received by June 30, 2015.
