A BLM Meeting regarding proposed route closures was held on January 21st, 2015 at the Community Center. When I showed up to the meeting there was about 13 armed guards in- cluding BLM and Quartzsite Police. Is this the USA or Russia? Does this show that they are going to do what they want with the BLM? It showed me that they think they own the land! The land belongs to the people of the United States, not the BLM or the For- est Service. They are working for us. They are supposed to be working for us; not against us! They say they are out of money. How much did this little show of force cost us tax payers? I hired a man from Yuma to do a job for me and gave him a large deposit, he showed up once and poured two little squares of concrete to set two electric gate controls on and never came back to fi nish the job.
