Gamma-Rho Zeta Welcomes 64 New Associate Members G amma-Rho Zeta had a solid recruiting season this year. High Delta Danny Price, GR 2574, our recruitment team, and Chapter did an outstanding job of putting together a great associate member class for 2014. Our recruiting is ongoing throughout the year and our first contact with many of our recruits begins when they are high school juniors. One of the events put on by the University is the High School Leadership Conference (HSLC) weekend in February. During this annual weekend-long conference, OU hosts high school juniors who are in leadership roles in their respective schools. The weekend is designed to help them learn and grow as leaders. Our collegiate brothers make up a large contingency of the HSLC staff and get to know the high school students. By doing this, they are able to begin building relationships and learning about future students and possible future brothers. This is just one of the things we are doing to create good, solid classes and providing hope for the future of Lambda Chi Alpha at the University of Oklahoma. We signed 64 new associates, including nine President's Leadership Class members, three President's Community Scholars members, and a large number of National Merit Scholars.
