Oct. 8th at 10am at the Senior Center on Moon Mt. Every- one is welcome regardless of your quilting skills. Come join the fun! Salome High updates There was no school on Septem- ber 22. On September 18, a college fair was held in the Salome High School gym. There will be a late start on October 8. On October 10 and 13 there will be a vacation day. On October 15, Parent/Teacher conferences will be held at Salome High School. October 28 through the 30, AIMS testing will take place. There will be a Halloween Carnival on October 31. On September 12, the foot- ball team played against the San Pasqual Warriors at the Home- coming game. The team won 72-14. The Salome Football team will be playing against Arizona Charter at Salome High School on September 19 at 7pm. They will be playing at PDSD on September 26 at 7pm. On October 3, the football team will be playing at Mayer at 7pm. On Oc- tober 6, the Toros will be playing at Bagdad at 4pm. On October 10, the boys will be playing at Bagdad at 7pm. On October 17, the football team will be playing at Glendale Prep at 7pm. October 24 is the fi rst round of the football playoffs. Don't forget to come out and sup- port The Salome Football team. The Volleyball girls played against Mohave Accelerated Learning at 4pm and 5pm at the Homecoming game on September 12. JV and Varsity both won their matches. On September 19, the Varsity girls will be playing against Arizona Charter at 6pm. The girls will be playing at Rancho Solano Prep on September 24 at 6pm. The girls will have a home game on September 26 against PDSD at 4 pm and 5 pm. On September 30, they have a home game against Valley Lutheran High School at 5 pm and 6 pm. They will be play- ing against Mingus Mountain at 4:30pm on October 2. On October 3, they will be playing at Mayer at 5pm and 6pm. On October 7, they will be playing at Phoenix Christian at 5pm and 6pm. On October 9, they will be playing at Joy Christian at 5pm. On Oc- tober 10, the girls will be playing against Bagdad at 5pm and 6pm. On October 14, they will be playing at Glendale Prep at 5pm and 6pm. On October 21, they will be play- ing at Thunderbird Adventist at 5pm and 6pm. On October 28, the girls will be playing against Gilbert Christian at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Don't forget to come out and sup- port our Lady Frogs. On September 12, the Home- coming Court was announced. For the Freshmen we have Moriah Freedman and Rene Soqui. For the Sophomores, we have Alondra Mendosa and Thomas Rees. For the Juniors, we have Stephanie Claytor, JC Wolfe, and Joel Freed- man. For the Seniors, we have Bree Bohlen and Javier Medina as the runner ups. For the king and queen we have Michael Best and Katrina Garcia. Congratulations to the Homecoming Court!
